5 Lug Rear Disk Installation Instructions
North race cars bracket. Brake brackets axle installation. All of our brackets require removal and reinstallation of the axle bearing. These high quality steel brackets from north race cars allow the use of 1994 04 cobrabullittmach 1 style rear disc brake calipers while maintaining the stock length fox body axle. If running 14 or 15 use the 106 rotor. Re install the differential cross pin and retain it with the cross pin bolt. North racecars motorsport or early ranger driver side axles all work but the north racecars are the only ones hub centric.
North racecars offers a variety of disk brake solutions. Put c clips on and push axles back to normal position. Reinstall the big pin. Designed to be used with cobra style 1165 rotor and cobra caliper. Install the included lug studs in your new moser axles and slide your axles back in place securing them with their c clips. Mount rotors caliper support bracket and the supplied spacers and check for fit. A big 13 front brake kit that is worth the money. There are some good pictures on the website. Using the 4 nuts bolts removed earlier attach the north racecars caliper adapter axle flanges. What you get is everything you need to convert to big brakes on the front of your mustang or factory five. This kit will compliment our rear kit perfectly.
If running larger wheels we recommend the cobra rotor and caliper for appearance.
