Plow lights not working. Soi unplug the plow still no headlights. Ive checked the fuse box under the hood and also at the passenger kick panel on the right side in front of the door. Sono headlights work brights low beams or plow lights. Whether my plow lights are attached or not the low beams dont work on either the truck or plow lights so i am thinking its a control issue. Plow will not raise or raises slowly pump motor runs. Check powerground cables and control cable are connected properly.
42 out of 5 stars 19. Hydraulic fluid level should be within ¾ from top of reservoir when lowered and in the v position. Sometimes a bad bulb can do that. Simple electrical tester will tell you where the problem is at start at the wire coming out of the headlights and follow them forward. Remove both bulbs on plow and see if lights work correctly on truck if so plug one in and see what happens then try the other. Something is shorted out.
