2000 chevy silverado power window fuse location. How much does it usually cost to get the window assembly repaired or replaced. Where is the fuse located at for the power window driver side. The fuse or relay for the power windows on a 2000 chevy suburban is located in the fuse box on top of the battery. Where is the fuse driver side electric window located on a 2003 silverado 1500 4x4 ls there is no fuse but there is a circuit breaker for all of the windows. Here is a guide to help you see where you are losing power and the window wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. I checked all fuses and they were all okay. Power windows dont use a fuse they use a circuit breaker due to the high draw of the motorsthe circuit breaker 47 for this and it is in the smart box or under hood fuse box. I can take two wires from battery and put them to the window motor and that will make the window go up and down. The circuit breaker is located in the instrument panel fuse block located on the driver side edge of the instrument panel. Unplug the old relay and insert the new one.
This would more than likely not be a sensor problem. How can you determine that the whole window assembly needs to be repaired or replaced. You can remove fuses with a fuse extractor which is mounted to the fuse block access door. In replacing the hinges you more than likely disrupted the wires that run from the cab into the door causing a ground pinching a wire or in some way causing no power to get through one of the wires. If the passenger window is working power is not the problem. Pull off the cover to access the fuse block.
Then wiggle the wires until the window moves. My 99 chevy silverado power window stoped working. I need the wiring diagram to the left window motor and fuse box. Got it fixed for free. There is no power going to the motor. For chevrolet silverado first generation 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2007 model year. My truck is a v8 four wheel drive automatic with 100000 miles. There is a rubber boot that runs between the door and the cab pull it back and have someone hold the button in the down position.
