To pigtail and this is only if the wiring was done correctly in the first place you connect all the wires of like color along with an extra length of wire to go to the outlet. Thinking maybe the outlet is shot i went and replaced it with a new one.

Electrical outlets in the united states come in 110 volt with three wires. Its also not a good idea to direct wire all three cables to the receptacle by utilizing both the screw terminals and the push in terminals on the back of the device.
