I would use the teflon thread sealant and allow it to cure before putting pressure on it. Im sure there is other brands around but as long as you get a sealant like this which contains ptfe. To choose the appropriate thread sealant look for its chemical resistance to fuel diesel or gasoline or oil running through the line. Lightly wipe sprayed area with clean cloth.
