How to connect a 12v inverter to two 12v batteries. There are two ways to wire up two batteries. We have published diagrams for connecting two four six eight ten or twelve batteries in series with inverter solar inverter or ups. Similarly you can not connect single 12v battery to a 24v inverter. Positive on both batteries should be connected to each other and negatives to each other. One way doubles the volts of the two batteries and the other keeps the same amount of volts. I didnt realise that my controllers 60a was measured on the output i assumed it only related to relay size.
