Just go by when the hash marksnot arrows on the pulleys are excactly straight upa line drawn through the center of the pulley and the mark should be excactly vertical. After you line the belt up with the timing marks on the sprockets and hand crank the motor the timing marks will not line up again. 1999 subaru legacy outback ej25.
