With the new brake pedal mounted in the pedal box we then connected the adjustable pushrod to the pedal and reinstalled the pedal box steering column and panels back into the car. This is the unattached clutch cable end which has been removed from the bellhousing. These pedals fit 1979 1980 1981 1982 1983 1984 1985 1986 1987 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 and 1993 fox body mustangs. I dont think the mounting location to the booster knob would be the same on the brake pedals or similar mounting locations for the clutch pedal. Im not sure if a fox body pedal would work or not. This is the clutch pedal safety switch which prevents engine start unless the clutch pedal is depressed. This switch must remain installed and be functional. Upgrade your factory transmission to a heavy duty t 5 transmission or switch over to a tko tremec or ford racing 6 speed transmission.
Disconnect clutch cable assembly from the bellhousing as shown by removing the c clip. Single brake pedal assembly from foxbody mustang.
